How did we go to the All-Ukrainian Pysanka Festival in Kiev. An incredible miracle in the center of Kiev took place on a holiday weekend. This year on Sofia Square gathered to show a record number of Easter eggs – 858 pieces. 374 of them were painted by Ukrainian artists in the author’s style – they were placed on the Sophia Square. On the Mikhailovskaya Square were exhibited other pysanka, representing the traditional murals of the regions of Ukraine, as well as painted by children. Also on the territory of the Easter city was presented the All-Ukrainian collection of Easter eggs, numbering 25 thousand exhibits.

A remarkable event is designed to support and popularize Ukrainian folk traditions, to promote the development of folk art, to study the culture and history of the Ukrainian people by the example of the phenomenon of Easter eggs.

We always teach our children to the traditions of our homeland. And we are good at it. The kids got a lot of pleasure from our trip.
