The Little Prince

Recently the children of our third group visited the Youth Theatre on Lypky for a performance of “The Little Prince”.

For many of them it was a brand-new experience. There is something unforgettable about sitting in the hall as the lights go down and a story begins that holds you from the very first minutes. The play turned out to be tender and profound at once: about friendship, responsibility, loneliness, and how important it is to see what truly matters.

The children lived through the story in their own ways. Some followed every word closely, some responded more to the images and the stage, and afterwards they kept talking for a long time about what had touched them most. For some it was simply an interesting outing, for others a reason to pause and ask their own questions.

Outings like these are always more than entertainment. They are a chance to glimpse another world, to switch off for a while, to feel emotions and share them with one another.

We thank the Youth Theatre on Lypky for the warm welcome and for letting our children see this story live. It truly was a valuable experience for each of them!
