“Conscious Care” Charity Brunch that helped our Helping Centre.

On the occasion of the International Children’s Day, on the initiative of the TYRBOTA project, with the support of PROZORIY VYBIR and dobro.ua, on June 1, a charity event took place in the restaurant “Praga” (“Prague”), the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay the salaries of two our Centre’s psychologists.

The traumas that children receive, who are bullied and beaten, are not just physical – they are a mental and psychological breakdown that can remain for many years. This is an unwillingness to live, and fear, and self-doubt. Our wards need long-term psychological rehabilitation. This is a very difficult and tedious job. Only highly qualified specialists can change “-” to “+”. There are two psychologists working in the “Centre”, and it is their work that we will be able to pay for within 7 months.

Initially, the goal of the charity brunch was to raise 75,000 hryvnias by selling tickets to the event. But thanks to caring people, excellent organization and interesting speakers, more than 100,000 hryvnias were collected! Colossal results!

We would like to thank TYRBOTA project, AoA PROZORIY VYBIR, dobro.ua, all guests and women who gave lectures! This is a very important, necessary systemic assistance that will make a huge contribution to the life and rehabilitation of children.
