A new reality

The most frequent question we hear lately is: “When are we going home?”.

We cannot express how much we miss Ukraine, our Center, friends, schools, volunteers and benefactors. All our families are in Ukraine. But as of now, we are not even physically able to bring the kids, because according to all standards, the Center needs to be equipped with a bomb shelter. It is not suitable for a long stay of children. We are now preparing a collection to cover this need, because the bomb shelter is a new reality in which we will have to live for the rest of our lives. So, despite our desires and sadness, we are here in Germany, safe and surrounded by the attention of people who help and support us so much in difficult times. Today it is like that.

We hope that very soon we will be able to write: “We are coming back!”.
