Letting children cook their own meals — it’s more than just about cooking. It’s about trust, growth, independence, and feeling at home.
In our Center, children don’t stand in line for food or receive it through a window like in institutions.
They choose what to cook. They search for recipes. They boil, chop, fry, taste. And all this — under adult supervision, in a safe, cozy space that feels like a real home kitchen.
It gives them not only skills — but also confidence, self-care, and pride in what they create with their own hands.
We sincerely thank all the volunteers and donors who regularly provide food for our children.
Your help is more than just meals. It’s a chance to live a normal, homelike life. It’s dinners filled with the smell of potatoes and warm pie.
It’s the sense of normalcy that children so deeply need.
