Calm and restrained, diligent and responsible, prudent and serious beyond his years. This is how we see our nine-year-old Andryusha. The boy came to us with his younger sister Alesya almost a year ago.

And although a lot of time has passed, Andryusha did not lose faith that his mother was about to pick them up. Although with longing and fear he recalls his past life: how he slept with his mother and sister on a narrow bed, how he did his homework on a stool, how he fried eggs for himself and his sister when mother was away for a long time, how he fought with rats…

There were better times, of course. But this wasn’t enough to leave the children with their mother. And there was also a great hope for dad, which, unfortunately, their father did not fulfill and he was the first, who disappeared from the life of his son. And the mother seemed to be able to gather her strength and thoughts and is on the way to the return of the kids. Yes, our wards return to their families very rarely and that is why we really want this reunion to happen. We will be happy to let the kids go home.
