Day embroidered – all-Ukrainian holiday, which is designed to preserve the original folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothes.
The main goal of the event is the preservation of Ukrainian values and their popularization among the youth and the population of the state as a whole. The holiday does not provide for mandatory measures other than dressing embroidered. Although throughout the history of the event, on the initiative of students, schoolchildren, public and cultural figures, concerts, competitions, parties, fairs are held. The same holiday invites every conscious citizen to an absolutely simple act – just dress up the embroidery and go to work or study there.
At the same time, such an action has a deep context, because it is about expressing one’s national and civic position, cultural education and spiritual consciousness.
Experience shows that people on the Day of Embroidery are always exalted and smiling, because in ancient clothes many symbols of power, well-being, beauty and amulets are coded.
