In one big city, among the panel high-rise buildings there lived a little girl Vika. Her life was made of large number of unchildish problems, strange adults, sad evenings… It happens, when immature parents have babies, but they are irresponsible for them. Birthday is such a holiday that must be in every child’s life. This is a day, when kids are waiting for wonders, presents and birthday cake. The aim of the event is to make a real holiday for a birthday child, for kids from Helping Centre “Home of happy children”. The project “Celebration All Year Through” is our partners’ and friends’ initiative – restaurant “Mama Manana”. For a long time, we’ve noticed our children’s special love for preparing food. That’s why we try to attract them to this activity, to organize master classes. This weekend we invited “Varenichnaia Balovannaia Galia v Kieve” for making dumplings. Our adult kids liked this idea so much, the process was creative and inspiring, and in the finale – delicious. They learnt it from masters, believe in the quality and ready to travel around wild Indian mountains for procuring proper tea. They believe that they do the right thing and they can do one more. Our Rostik and Karina went to their new family! It is finally happened. The children will have a real family, warmth and coziness. To adapt a child to life is not only to teach him and give advice. This is also to give him the opportunity to be independent, to choose what you want to do at the moment. Feeling of freedom and self-confidence - that's the feeling of a happy child. And often it happens that on the weekend our children want to be independent and prepare their own food. At the weekend, our Center's friends came to visit us ❤ All of our already native assistants who know how important it is for us to be attentive, supportive, and helpful, always come not with empty hands. Employees of the Center are happy to share a unique experience with the rehabilitation of children deprived of parental care. Our psychologist Irina Basista conducted an introductory lecture with the first-year students of the Pedagogical University named after М.P. Dragomanova.
