On kindness and politeness
Today we talked with the children about what kindness is, why it’s important to be polite and caring to one another.
Together, we recalled the magic words — “thank you,” “please,” “sorry,” “help me” — those little words that have great power to make the world a better place.
The children shared their own stories about good deeds, learned to notice when they can support a friend, help, say something kind and meaningful.
At the end of our talk, everyone made their own lovely craft — a “Kitten.”
Because kindness is also warmth, tenderness, and care — something that can easily be shared even through small creative works.
May a kitten of kindness and politeness live in every heart!
