The children of our Centre have had the chance to go to camp for almost a month: to be among the mountains, breathe fresh air, walk, play, make friends, discover new places, and simply enjoy the summer.
For some it is their first such long trip. For some, their first camp. For some, a chance to change the setting, to rest, to gather their strength, and to be in a space full of nature, movement, new impressions, and plenty of childhood joy.
We are endlessly happy that all of our children went. Our educators set off with them too, having volunteered to be there, to support, to look after, and to share this important time with the children.
A break like this means recovery, calm, new emotions, friendship, laughter, walks, evenings together, and memories that will stay with the children for a long time.
We sincerely thank the social services who helped organise this trip. We thank the volunteers and donors who helped get the children ready for camp and took care of everything they needed.
Behind every opportunity like this stand many people, much care, and a great deal of kindness.
