The Brothers’ Adventures in Germany
Recently, the children visited Wartburg. This is a special place for Germans, as it was here in 1521-1522 that Martin Luther translated the Bible into German, marking an important step in the development of German culture and the religious reformation. This translation made the Holy Scriptures accessible to the wider public and laid the foundation for the modern German literary language. Wartburg also symbolizes the power of faith and intellect in transforming society.
