The Center opens its doors

We are happy to share with you the news that our Center has opened its doors to new children. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have been evacuating children abroad and the local German community has been helping us all this time. However, due to the high demand and, unfortunately, the large number of disadvantaged children, we decided not to stop our work in Kyiv, but to take in additional children.

And it is thanks to caring people that in a matter of days life will sparkle again within the walls of our “Home of Happy Children”.

And as the current situation dictates, we had to make some improvements in our home. Namely, to equip a bomb shelter so that during air raids we could provide shelter for the children.

We are grateful to the Kyiv festival “Kids Fest”, an incredible family who wanted to remain incognito, but provided the shelter with beds. After all, during very long air raids, children should be able to rest and sleep.

Employees also took part in cleaning and repairing the shelter. For this we are extremely grateful!
