A meaningful date has recently passed — three years since the children from our Center were evacuated to Germany after the start of the full-scale invasion.
Those were difficult times: hurried packing, fear of the unknown, a long road, a new country, a new language, adaptation. But kind hearts were always near our children.
Much has changed since then.
Some children found new families.
In Kyiv, we opened a renewed Center and took in new children deprived of parental care.
And our German friends have done — and continue to do — incredible things: they supported the evacuated children every step of the way, helped with housing, education, leisure, and rehabilitation. And now — they help our new Center in Kyiv function: they provide for the children, support daily life, and bring stability in unstable times.
A special thank you to our Liliya — Liliya Kuznetsova. Liliya stayed in Germany with the three brothers — Vlad, Murad, and Aslan — and cares for them every day with incredible tenderness, love, and responsibility. She is their family, their support, their protector.
In the photo carousel — the brothers’ happy faces during their visit to the Porsche Museum. They are thrilled — and that’s the best reminder of why we do all this.
