Vlad is one of the oldest residents at our “City of Happy Children” center. The journey we’ve taken together has been filled with challenges, overcome step by step. When he first arrived, his gaze was cautious, and his trust fragile. But over time, with the care and love of our team, we witnessed his confidence begin to grow.
He made friends, started to open up, and became more emotionally resilient. Every day was a step toward acceptance, toward understanding that here, he would always find support. Together, we worked on his development and dreams — at first cautiously, and later with pride as we saw him conquer his fears.
Today, Vlad is a shining example of the importance of giving a child the chance for a new life, a sense of safety, and the opportunity to dream. Recently, along with Liliya Kuznetsova, we visited Cologne, where Vlad received his Ukrainian citizen ID card.
