Despite the extreme fatigue, constant challenges, and separation from our families, we decided to move on.
Part of our Center, together with the educators and children, remains in evacuation and temporarily resides in Germany.
But unfortunately, there are many disadvantaged children in Ukraine who need our help and support now. That is why, at the request of social services, we decided to open the doors of our Center in Kyiv and provide assistance to children.
We are planning to take 23-26 children for care and psychological rehabilitation in January. That is, to double the volume of our work. It sounds crazy, but we cannot stand aside in such a difficult time for our country.
That is why in the following posts we will post information about the vacancies that our updated Center in Kyiv needs now.
And we will be very grateful to you for your help in reposting and spreading the word among your friends and acquaintances. Maybe someone is looking for a job and can be useful to us and the children.
We will also resume the section of our fundraising events. After all, the City of Happy Children Assistance Center still does not belong to the state and is not funded from the budget. It is a charitable initiative that has been helping disadvantaged children since 2007. We will publish all the latest news on this page.
We are grateful to everyone who believes in us, supports us financially and with a kind word. We thank all the volunteers and benefactors who are waiting for the opening of the Center in the capital.
Let’s keep in touch!
