Despite gloomy weather, rains, air raid alerts, and endless school tasks, our children do not lose their good mood. They are learning to enjoy every day — to catch rays of autumn sun, to breathe in the smell of fresh air after rain, to find beauty even in puddles and yellow leaves. In our Children’s Assistance Center we celebrated the birthday of our gentle and kind Angelina, who turned 8 years old. Angelina is a special girl. She is always friendly, sincere, and attentive to others. There is an ocean of kindness in her eyes, and so much sensitivity in her heart that everyone around feels the warmth. Solomiya is the daughter of a fallen Defender of Ukraine. She waited very much for her father to return after the war and be able to take care of her again. But the war cut these dreams short.
