Support That Nourishes
There are donors without whom it’s hard to imagine the daily life of our Child Support Center — and Jivan Kazaryan is one of them.
His help is constant, timely, and generous. At the very first request, without the need for long explanations, he provides our children with large quantities of fresh, high-quality food. Vegetables, fruits, treats — all the best for those who truly need it.
For children who have lived through difficult stories, whose childhoods were interrupted, healing often begins with the simplest things: nutritious food, a stable routine, and the feeling that someone genuinely ...

A Summer That Heals
This wasn’t just a trip. It was a powerful chance for a normal childhood — even if only for a few weeks.
It was an opportunity for children to see the Carpathians for the very first time — real, majestic, and alive; to hike along trails to waterfalls and fill their lungs with clean mountain air; to swim in rivers and soak up the sun, to take part in sports competitions, creative workshops, and songs around the campfire; to make new friends, learn teamwork, listen and trust — and most importantly, to sleep peacefully. No sirens. No shelling. No shelters.
For many, it was their very first ...

We Were Lucky – Our Children Went on a Summer Trip to Zakarpattia!
The best news of this summer is that our children took part in the “Summer 2025” health and recreation program.
We are overjoyed that all our children aged 6 and up were able to travel together for a wonderful vacation in Zakarpattia!
For a whole week, a special atmosphere filled our Center — it felt like a “tourist camp”: the children eagerly awaited their journey, caregivers looked for practical suitcases, coordinated every detail with the Children’s Services, searched for funds to cover the transfer, and together — we all celebrated, supported each other, and prepared for a great ...

The Art of Emotions
Recently, we were visited by our dear friend and source of inspiration — Sofia Shamia, Miss Ukraine 2023.
Sofia has already become part of our big family. She regularly comes to see the children, sharing her warmth, knowledge, and support, always teaching something interesting and meaningful.
This time, we held a heartwarming and emotional meeting together — an art therapy workshop using the “Fluid Art” technique. This is a special creative method where paints flow freely, blend and swirl, creating unique and one-of-a-kind artworks.
Each child immersed themselves in the colorful process, ...

Read and Dream — a Corner Where Imagination Comes Alive!
A true place of strength has appeared in our Center for Child Support — a cozy reading corner that inspires children to dream, discover new things, and dive into the magical worlds of books.
Thanks to the “Read and Dream” project within the literature development initiative by the “Futbank” Charitable Foundation, we received a modern bookshelf, bright soft poufs, and a large collection of fiction and educational literature — book series that captivate from the very first page.
We were also visited by a mentor from the project who led wonderful reading sessions for the children, introduced ...

Days to Remember
Recently, our children from the Center for Child Support experienced a real celebration! Thanks to the incredible support of the Obolonsky District Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine and its head Alla Zakrevska, the children went on exciting adventures into the world of fun — to FLY PARK and bowling.
For many of our kids, it was their first time trying bowling. They were nervous, curiously holding the bowling balls, learning how to throw them properly — and with every round, they became more confident. Some rejoiced at their first strike, others cheered on their teammates — bowling ...

A New Friend
We have a new friend — a kind-hearted donor, mentor, and simply a radiant person with a big heart: Sofia Shamia, Miss Ukraine 2023.
Sofia came to visit the children to get to know them, to talk, to listen, to hug, and of course — to bring lovely surprises. But the most valuable gift she brought was her openness, sincerity, and genuine desire to make the world a better place.
Sofia will now be a regular guest at our Center. She will lead art therapy sessions, runway and self-expression workshops, and masterclasses in photography.
Joining her for the first visit was a photographer whose camera ...

Gifted Children
At the Center for Child Support, we are reminded every day: our children are incredibly gifted. They don’t just draw — they bring to paper their inner world, filled with dreams, hope, and the ability to see beauty even where an adult eye might miss it.
Our sessions with volunteer artist Tetiana are more than just drawing lessons. They are a space where each child can express themselves. Yes, sometimes the themes are suggested. But the techniques, colors, and perspectives always come from the heart. Because every artwork is like a signature: unique, sincere, alive.
We are not simply learning how ...

Gratitude that heals
Children’s health is the highest value, and when they need treatment, it’s crucial that help arrives on time.
During seasonal outbreaks of infections, when colds and viruses hit especially hard, every pill, every syrup, every bandage matters greatly.
The “Podorozhnyk” pharmacy chain has become a true friend to our Children’s Help Center by providing the necessary medicines and medical supplies for our children.
These are not just boxes of medicine — they are support, care, and belief that no child should be left without treatment.
We sincerely thank you for your kindness, ...

An idea that became a value
What once seemed like just a nice idea has become a true value of our Center.
Letting children cook their own meals — it’s more than just about cooking. It’s about trust, growth, independence, and feeling at home.
In our Center, children don’t stand in line for food or receive it through a window like in institutions.
They choose what to cook. They search for recipes. They boil, chop, fry, taste. And all this — under adult supervision, in a safe, cozy space that feels like a real home kitchen.
It gives them not only skills — but also confidence, self-care, and pride in what they create ...
Charity organization “The home of happy children” is an unprofitable organization and it exists only because of some voluntary donations and everyone can help us with our work.
